Going For Baroque by BalletFleming

BalletFleming ended their season in amazing fashion with superb performance titled Going For Baroque.

The performance was divided into three parts.

The opening piece titled Vivaldi Opus 2 was masterfully choreographed by Christopher Fleming and featured all members of the company showing off their ballet techniques.

The second act featured incredible choreography by Elishka Vitanovska-Mayer titled Baroque Suite. This piece used the dancers to create the feeling of living sculptures. The dancers were fantastic and played into the whimsical parts very well. We had the pleasure of watching Elishka interact with the dancers during rehearsal for this piece and they delivered everything she was asking for.

The third and final act titled Corelli featured choreography by Christopher Fleming. This piece was a great way to end the show with fantastic ballet technique with a bit of a modern edge mixed into the numbers.

Overall this was an incredible day of dance. We had the pleasure to attend both shows and enjoyed every minute of the shows. Some photos of the incredible dancers can be viewed in our current events page
